Operating for Node

Node Delegator

A Node Delegator can operate Nodes on behalf of others. The Delegator carries the operational weight corresponding to the number of Nodes delegated to them. This system brings the advantages of a simpler and more structured decision-making process to the decentralized organization. In reality, a fully decentralized organizational structure can lead to operational challenges such as low participation and lack of accountability.

Conditions for Delegators

  • High contribution to Node Sales can earn the Delegator qualification.

  • Staking a certain amount of $GP can earn the Delegator qualification.

  • The team can grant Delegator status to other significant figures such as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Staking a specific amount of $GP is the easiest way to qualify, but intangible contributions can also earn one the status. The GPGPU team aims to elect Delegators based on community and ecosystem contributions, and they will manually verify and select excellent Delegators.

Benefits for Delegators

  • A share of the rewards from the delegated Nodes.

  • Higher reward weight compared to standard Node operation, depending on the Delegator's rank and scale. Delegating Nodes to a Delegator can yield higher rewards than direct operation, and since it requires no management resources from the Node owner, most Node holders are expected to choose a suitable Delegator.
